  1. Johannes Braams pointed out to me that my `rotating' package
  2. re-instituted a problem fixed in LaTeX some time ago, ie the
  3. hard-wiring of the words `Figure' and `Table' in captions. This has
  4. been fixed so that \figurename and \tablename are used, and a a new
  5. version (1.8) or `rotating' is therefore available in the CTAN
  6. archives (eg ftp.tex.ac.uk:pub/archive/macros/latex/contrib/rotating).

  8. We also belatedly record in the source the fact that the trigonometry 
  9. macros were written by Phil Taylor!
